Phil Mason
Owner & Farm Manager
Phil grew up in Thetford, VT. He joined the Crossroad Farm crew when he was 14 and has continued to work every summer since. After graduating Colby College, Phil made the decision to pursue agriculture full-time. He managed the farm crew for many seasons before joining Tim and Janet as a partner in 2017. Phil became the sole owner of the business in 2022. He loves working outside and is passionate about growing the most delicious vegetables possible.
Tim and Janet Taylor
Founders
Tim and Janet moved to Post Mills in 1978. In 1980 they took the leap to expand their home garden into what would become Crossroad Farm. Over four decades, Tim and Janet built the business to reach customers and wholesale accounts across the Upper Valley. They’ve loved raising their children here and still share the farm with their grandchildren from their new spot off “the back 40.”
Christy Parker
Post Mills Farm Stand & Greenhouse Manager
Christy has worked for the farm since 2001. In the Spring she enjoys working with flower transplants and creating hanging baskets. During the Summer season Christy manages our Post Mills farm stand and keeps us all smiling with her banter.
Jamie Hosley
Jamie began working at the farm in the late 1980's and he’s still at it! Most of the flowers, plants and starts that occupy our greenhouses in the Spring are the result of Jamie’s speedy transplanting. In the summer, he plays an integral role on the tractor, cultivating everything from lettuce to pumpkins. When he’s not out working in the fields or transplanting in a greenhouse, Jamie stars as the bass guitar player for the local band, The Conniption Fits.
Karen Fryer
Assistant Manager - Norwich Farm Stand
Karen has lived in Thetford since 1982 and has enjoyed Crossroad veggies for as long as she can remember. Karen began working for Killdeer Farm at the Norwich farm stand in 2008 and joined Crossroad when we purchased the stand in 2017. We sure are grateful that she did! She finds great joy in sharing the very best of Vermont's vegetables and fruits with our community.
Aanan Merritt
Assistant Manager - Norwich Farm Stand
Aanan joined the Norwich farm stand crew in 2017. She was only planning on spending one season at the stand, but has been with us ever since! Aanan manages our farm stand crew and oversees inventory for the stand. She enjoys creating beautiful displays, chatting with customers, and seeing the produce come and go with each season.
